By accessing or using Shodaku ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Shodaku is an approval workflow platform that allows organizations to define approval types, submit requests, and let approvers decide via email with one click. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers for hosting, email delivery, and other essential functions. While we carefully select reliable providers and monitor their performance, occasional service disruptions may occur that are beyond our direct control. We will work to restore normal operations as quickly as possible in such events, and will communicate known issues through our Trust page when appropriate.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Shodaku uses passwordless magic link authentication — you must maintain access to the email address associated with your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Shodaku offers Free, Team, and Business subscription plans. Paid plans are billed through Stripe and are subject to the following terms:
The Free plan provides limited access at no cost. The Team and Business plans unlock additional features and higher limits as described on our Pricing page.
Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.
Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for a 12-month term. Annual payments are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the 12-month term.
Subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time, and access will continue until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for cancellations made mid-cycle.
If you cancel your paid subscription or it expires, your organization will revert to the Free plan. Features exclusive to paid plans will become inaccessible, but your data will be retained.
We may change our subscription prices from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect. Price changes will apply to the next billing cycle following the notice period.
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Service. You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or systems connected to the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Shodaku and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shodaku and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including disruptions caused by third-party service providers upon which the Service depends. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the account settings. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
